Events | STACKIT is part of the infraKon Power Building & Datacenter Convention
On 27.09. and 28.09. STACKIT is dialogue partner and part of the infraKon Power Building & Datacenter Convention in Vienna. STACKITEER Kai Keller will be there, presenting a practical report on our data center in Ostermiething in his talk “River water cooling from the operator’s point of view”. Other presentations and discussion panels include:
- “The ADCA – on the shoulder of an industry that is an indispensable building block in the foundation of the technology-driven world”, a statement by Martin Madlo, President, Austrian Data Center Association (ADCA)
- “Data-heat coupling: how data centers can make a significant contribution to the municipal heat transition”, a coreferate by Daniela Quitadamo-Bondallaz, GETEC & Heinz Nusser, Decision Advisory Group
- “Microgrids – a new buzzword or booster for the Net Zero Data Center?”, a panel discussion with several partners on the panel
Of course, the aspect of sustainability will be kept in mind on both days – however, builders and operators of data centers and other special buildings currently have to plan their projects meticulously. In doing so, numerous, sometimes contradictory, requirements have to be reconciled. To meet these requirements, there are various tools and holistic solutions that will be highlighted at the convention. The topics are:
- Managing complexity successfully
- Mastering crises with resilience
- Implementing self-sufficiency concepts
- Energy efficiency
- Cost control
- Security of supply
