Events | Bitkom Forum Open Source on 27.09. in Erfurt

STACKIT takes part in this year’s Bitkom Forum Open Source in Erfurt under the motto “Open Source. Shape together! #bfoss23”. Together with other company representatives, experiences and ideas on open source are to be shared and discussed within this framework.

The background

Collaboration in communities has become an important driver of digital innovation in recent years: Source code is shared and collaborated on within companies in inner-source projects and across company boundaries in open-source projects. In this way, many successful initiatives have been and are being launched that further develop technologies and applications.

Transparent exchange is important here: Those who share ideas and experience openly can solve tasks more quickly themselves, achieve progress more quickly and also support others in the process. This promotes collaboration, mutual understanding and tolerance within a community – and even more: it creates an atmosphere that encourages people to get involved and become and remain a community. Open cooperation at eye level is a decisive factor for the success of open source.
