About MongoDB
MongoDB was founded in 2007 and is a cross-platform, document-oriented database management system that can be used to store and manage any type of data quickly and easily. Although the data can be nested in complex hierarchies, it can always be queried and indexed. The entrepreneurs behind MongoDB are convinced that the simple handling of data gives people the opportunity to give free rein to their genius and create something world-changing.
