News | STACKIT becomes an independent company

With effect from 01.09.2024, STACKIT, previously a specialist division of Schwarz IT, became a separate legal entity of the Schwarz Group and its IT and digital division Schwarz Digits.

For users of the STACKIT Cloud, nothing will change as a result of the carve-out; contact persons and the basic portfolio will remain the same – a charming advantage for all customers and partners: the existing STACKIT portfolio will be supplemented by additional solutions. Robin Hermann, Managing Director of the newly founded STACKIT GmbH & Co. KG, explains: “For me, the carve-out is an important step on the STACKIT journey. The small team that built a cloud with used hardware has become a really big and strong team. The company name gives us more clarity and focus both internally and externally. It is a very respectful sign, because this step also symbolizes our value within our group of companies.”
